It should boot to the left, and the left should be primary. If I swap cables around I can "correct" the swapped IDs, but then Windows will boot (BIOS POST, Loading Windows screen, etc) on the right monitor. The left monitor is already set as my primary, but identifies itself as 2 while the secondary monitor, (the right one) identifies itself as 1. My Windows 7 圆4 Ultimate machine boots (BIOS POST, Loading Windows screen, etc) to my left monitor. I've the EXACT same problem but with an nVidia card. It's really annoying! Microsoft can't make a little function to change the ID's of the monitors? WILL BE GREAT! Any ideias? thanks! 's Reference: Using: Windows 圆4 ATI HD 4870 Catalyst 9.4 Monitor 22" Samsung (should be the number 1, left) LCD TV 32" Samsung (should be the number 2, right) See the screenshot: (WRONG) I can swap the sides into the "screen resolution", btw all the times i press WIN P i need to remember to select the projector (monitor). Currently using a ATI graphic card, so the catalyst don't have the "display manager", driver beta, bla bla bla. Anyone knows a way to change it? I have tried swap the cables, swap the hdmi entrance, nothing works. My monitor is the "projector" (2) and my tv is my "monitor" (1). Given this issue has been around since 2009, I'd say the devs at Unity are not giving enough prioritisation to bug fixing and are spending too much time introducing new buggy features that break my existing code (UNET was working fine for me, now I've had to switch back to 2018.1.My windows recognize my displays wrong. So I then deleted them and restarted Unity. These too were set to 'invalid DWORD (32-bit) value' so I tried to set the x and y ones to 0,0 but they continued to read 'invalid DWORD (32-bit) value'. So I went back the the mess in the registry and eventually found some "UnityEditor.ProfilerWindow." keys. So I tried the “change the size of text apps and other settings” to 100% for both screens method. Also, many of the keys that are there read 'invalid DWORD (32-bit) value'. I have no "UnityEditor.ConsoleWindowy" key. I've tried the registry fix:Ĭomputer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unity Technologies\Unity Editor 5.x Well this is a pain! My profiler window is off the top of my second screen on Windows 10.
